3D-Scanner

We offer 3D-scanning services for all the tools or equipment that we lack, so as to provide a fast and easy solution to any issues of missing parts in the vessel or ship that cannot be acquired in a timely manner. Additionally, we are also open to printing other objects as well. 3D scanning, also known as additive manufacturing (AM), refers to processes used to create a three-dimensional object in which material is joined or solidified under computer control to create an object, with material being added together (such as liquid molecules or powder grains being fused together). Objects can be of almost any shape or geometry and typically are produced using digital model data from a 3D model or another electronic data source such as an Additive Manufacturing File (AMF) file (usually in sequential layers). Stereolithography (STL) is one of the most common file types that is used for 3D scanning, and is also the form of 3D-scanning that we use as well.

We provide 3D-scan, especially for the installation and retrofitting of the new Ballast Water Treatment System. Our main machine that we use is the FARO focus, and has garnered excellent results. Below are some examples of the jobs that we have taken on and completed through 3D scanning on board. These are merely the 2D versions of the scans that we have captured, and will then be converted into 3D in the future through processing with software.
